Ireland will play Netherlands on Friday 27 May 2016 as they prepare for the Euro 2016 competition. This game will no doubt be an interesting one as both teams seek for a bragging right against each other and this is also a chance for the coaches to test the unused team players and also for the players to show their talent.

Ireland qualified for the Euro 2016 via play off stage on 3-1 aggregate against Bosnia and Herzogovina, they have not lost a game since October 2015 after losing to Poland in the Euro qualifiers, they are unbeaten in 10 of their last 11 games.

Meanwhile the Dutch team failed to book a spot in the Euro 2016 competition, losing 5 games which includes home and away against Iceland and Czech Republic, this is the first time they have failed to qualify for the competition since 1984.
