  • Unai Emery fielded a reserve team for the 1-0 defeat to Espanyol at the weekend, ensuring they have still not won away from home in the league all season. He will recall upon a similar team to the one that drew 2-2 away to Shakhtar in the first-leg.
  • Michael Krohn-Dehli will not be part of the squad after he dislocated his knee in the first-leg and will be sidelined for the next eight months.
  • Benoît Trémoulinas hasn't featured since the start of April and remains a fitness doubt.

  • Shakhtar Donetsk warmed up for the return leg with an explosive 3-0 win over Dynamo Kiev at the weekend which saw them finish the game with nine-men.
  • Few changes are expected for the return leg.
