Caldwell's side is set to be split into two separate teams for the weekend's fixtures against Man Utd and Liverpool, with Nick Powell, Will Grigg, Jordan Flores and Jussi Jaaskelainen all set to join the squad that featured at Lookers Vauxhall Stadium on Wednesday. It is yet to be known who will feature in each specific match, but Caldwell did confirm the absences of Andy Kellett due to a serious knee injury, and Reece James whose progress is being monitored as he continues to strengthen his ankle injury picked up last season.
West Ham United youngster Kyle Knoyle will also be ruled out for the Liverpool match due to an elbow injury.
