"A lot of our supporters want to see us keep playing footy.
"They don't always understand why you lose, but they want to see us keep playing footy.
"I want to do that, too, and I'm prepared to continue to do that for as long as it takes for us to play that way consistently."

“We train tough. Every time we train they are pitted against each other and they know they have got to perform. If you don’t perform you have got no hope of getting picked. It is a tough environment.
"If you don’t come up to the standards, you are going to feel left out.
"It comes down to the mental strength and desire of the player to want to be part of the England side. There are no free caps in the England side.
"Just because we have won the series 2-0, it doesn’t mean they deserve a cap. They have to work hard to beat the person in front of them.”
